There can be issues with having so many options when it comes to football teams too.. 1. Conflicting game times on Saturdays 2. Keeping up with multiple teams can seem like a (very fun) full-time job! And last, but not least, 3. Not agreeing with family or friends on a favorite team. Now, I enjoy trash talk just as much as the next person, but fighting over tvs isn't always fun! Take this issue past just "who do we watch?" or "what game do we go to?", and what happens when you live with someone who doesn't like your team? In my case, you watch both teams and constantly have competitive and smack-talk filled conversations! This post isn't about negotiating tv time or how to have polite conversations, its about owning the difference in preferences and showcasing it in your house! Make a "House Divided" sign for your front door, living room, or any place you want it! It can be related specifically to one sport (see above for football), to multiple schools, or multiple professional teams! My design is a chevron background, split down the middle, with a football on each side. Chevron backgrounds are super easy to do (comment below if you want instructions!). I printed a football (the size I wanted it on the board) and traced two symmetrical of each other on the board. After this I traced laces on the football and then painted the white on top of the brown. The words and logos can either be stenciled on or you can use vinyl letters. Supplies: Wooden board from Hobby Lobby, paint colors were Folk Art and Folk Art Metallic brands, and the words/logos are vinyl from a vinyl cutting machine. This is weird for me to say, but MIZ & Boomer!? :)
